After my first try, it was two different yarns, as taught in the book. Well, my brain could not handle that kind of a complication, and off came the stitches from the needle. TWICE. Then I got a smart idea and checked You Tube, but the only thing I found was with two circular needles. I had one needle on my lap, with one set of stitches.
Again, I tried, but this time with just one "sock". After a few tries, I got the thing staying put on my needle and cable, and here is the result:

It's time to test the two socks at the same time. It might take some time, since it's already after 9 pm.
I did it!
